Rainbow Tea 2.0

Helping Our People to Excel, Incorporated(H.O.P.E., Inc.)is a non-profit organization based in the Newhallville neighborhood of New Haven, whose mission is to provide opportunities for men, women and children to become strong individuals, strong families, and as a consequence, strong communities.We are planning our first annual Rainbow Tea luncheon fundraiser for Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Betsy Ross Arts Magnet School Parish House, to raise money for the following programs and services:

• Community Feedings Since November 2015, we have fed hundreds of homeless in Bridgeport and New Haven. Last year, we served approximately 1,300 meals, in addition to distributing clothing and care packages containing basic toiletry items, socks and undershirts.
• 7Clap Salute Mentoring Program: This year we are launching a fraternal mentoring program for boys in grades 5–12. Its mission is to use the fraternity framework to change the lives of these young men and establish positive role models and relationships.
• H.O.P.E. for the Future Daycare: H.O.P.E. for the Future Daycare will offer affordable daycare to low-income families in Newhallville and surrounding neighborhoods, working toward a goal of 24-hour care.
